Biography
Curt Girod is President, Global Financial Services. Curt is responsible for leading and expanding the financial services industry globally. This encompasses accelerating our account-centered strategy, driving Unisys growth with key clients, developing robust client business plans for all of our top accounts, and acceleration of our value proposition deployment.
Before that, Curt was responsible for leading and transforming Unisys sales operations worldwide. This included profitable growth accountability, sales excellence and Six Sigma implementation, Blueprint major account campaign, world-class bid and proposal deliverables, and integrated ‘last mile’ go-to-market execution.
Mr. Girod also led the Unisys Transformation Campaign to increase Unisys’ profitable growth through dramatically improved go-to-market and through optimized cost competitiveness. Mr. Girod previously served as vice president and general manager of Strategy, Marketing and Sales Operations for Enterprise Transformation Services. In this role, he drove ETS’ business strategy, providing leadership and shared services in marketing, communications and alliance development, and driving effective sales and delivery practices worldwide. Prior, he headed the Cross Industry Market Sector Group in Global Industries. In this capacity, he drove business worldwide across Unisys industry sectors, including e-Business Solutions, Customer Relationship Management, and Business Process Optimization among others.
Mr. Girod has contributed in a variety of roles during his 27 years at Unisys and has general management operating experience in the United States, Europe and Asia. He has held positions across multiple functions including general management, marketing, program management and sales management. More recently, he led Unisys business in Asia, where Unisys outperformed the market and grew significantly.
Previously, as Head of Operations for Information Services Group in Europe, he helped drive a transformation to achieve profitability. Mr. Girod also led U.S. Operations record performance; grew market share while head of Enterprise Server Business; expanded new customers while running the U.S. Transportation business and led the implementation team forming Unisys while executive director to the chairman.
