Lee Stratton joined Unisys U.S. Federal in August 2009 as Vice President, Human Resources. He has more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience in information technology, government contracting and corporate environments.
Lee comes to Unisys from Serco/SI International, where he was senior vice president of human resources. He oversaw all human capital management, including employee relations, staffing, training and development, compensation, benefits, HRIS and diversity. Lee realigned the HR organization, establishing it as a proactive, strategic business partner. During his tenure, SI made two acquisitions and he led HR due diligence, resulting in SI being acquired by Serco.
Prior to joining SI, Lee was the human resources manager for General Electric, Corporate Finance Global Business Services, at GE’s corporate headquarters in Connecticut where he was responsible for HR management of the corporate finance shared services function in more than 50 countries. He received a CEO award in 2005 for his leadership on the disposition of a large outsourcing business.
Lee began his corporate career in 1985 recruiting for GE’s Edison Engineering training program. He graduated from GE’s Corporate Human Resources Leadership training program, then relocated to Virginia where he managed HR supporting contracts with government, military and national security agencies.
Lee went on to manage HR at TRW and was HR director at Raytheon Technical Services, where he led the Organizational Effectiveness function.
Lee holds a bachelors degree from Colgate University in Hamilton, NY. He has completed graduate and professional coursework at Cornell University, University of Maryland, Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and State University of New York, Binghamton.
