VERITAS Software ensures continuous availability of business-critical information by delivering integrated cross-platform storage management software solutions. Unisys Enterprise Server clients make use of VERITAS NetBackup™ to provide their Microsoft Windows NT/2000 environments with backup and recovery protection.

NetBackup DataCenter™ and NetBackup BusinesServer™ are high-end backup and restore software packages suitable for enterprise-level computing environments. Designed for use in heterogeneous environments, NetBackup can backup data from several different server, database and client platforms, including Windows NT and UNIX. In addition to backup over LANs, its tape sharing features make it an ideal candidate for Storage Area Network (SAN) backup and restore implementations. NetBackup also protects UNIX and NetWare enterprise environments for corporate information repositories of any size.

VERITAS Volume Manager™ for Windows NT and Windows 2000 brings sophisticated disk storage management technology to the Microsoft operating environment. By creating virtual storage devices from physical disks and disk arrays, Volume Manager removes the physical limitations of disk storage so you can configure, share and manage storage for optimal results. Volume Manager provides easy-to-use online storage management for enterprise computing and emerging SAN environments.
