Redwood and Unisys offer an innovative approach to the SAP Adaptive Computing Infrastructure, optimizing customer systems and helping to further reduce operational resource requirements in hardware and applications.

Clients are able to use existing hardware much more efficiently, as peak loads can be better addressed and the application performance can be balanced at a higher level. The main benefits to our customers are a reduction in the total cost of hardware ownership, and an improved return on investment for software applications.

The solution includes Unisys ES7000 server platform, running either a Windows or Linux operating system, supporting SAP’s applications – managed in an integrated manner by an extensive controlling interface based on Redwood’s Cronacle Software.  As a result of this integration, clients can manage their SAP Adaptive Computing Infrastructure based upon hardware and application requirements, reducing the complexity of the solution and delivering improved performance, flexibility, and efficiency.

This state-of-the-art solution combines Unisys services, ES7000 servers and Redwood’s Cronacle Software to collect key performance indicators from all layers of an SAP-based solution. Access to these integrated performance indicators will allow organizations to manage a diversity of applications, platforms and systems in a more efficient way and to address business changes at any time. This approach supports the Unisys vision of the real-time infrastructure – an infrastructure that allows customers to be more flexible and to further reduce operational costs.
