Company Profile
Founded in 2002 to commercialize advanced distributed-systems research from Cambridge and Edinburgh Universities, Enigmatec is a privately held software company backed by Amadeus Capital Partners, Intel Capital, Pentech Ventures and Herald Ventures.
A New Approach to IT Automation The Enigmatec award-winning Enigmatec Management System (EMS) automates the management and control of complex IT processes. By linking together the IT management, provisioning, support tools our customers rely on today, and providing a powerful distributed workflow platform in which to design and deploy IT operations workflows, we deliver “run book automation” – the integration and orchestration of IT teams’ daily operational tasks and procedures. Whether it’s a self-service request for a new virtual machine, automated response to a new service ticket being generated, automatic failover and disaster recovery, or on-demand provisioning of new servers or storage, any IT operational workflow can be streamlined with EMS. Our customers are relying on EMS as the foundation for their Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) initiatives, which aim to automate all aspects of IT service delivery, including configuration/change, incident/problem, release, and capacity management processes.
Relationship with Unisys Under an OEM agreement, the Enigmatec product set powers the IT process automation aspect of the Unisys Real Time Infrastructure offering. This includes Virtual Orchestrator for virtual machine management, and uOrchestrate run book automation for automating IT processes.
