Solutions

Unisys and EMC provide highly scalable business solutions for large-scale data migration/testing projects, remote disaster protection, online backup and data warehouse applications--every situation where data replication to local or remote sites needs to be done without consuming limited network resources.

EMC Symmetrix systems are the main storage workhorses for the Unisys ClearPath and ES7000 servers, providing heterogeneous channel connectivity to all Unisys platforms.  Symmetrix  provides up to 70 terabytes of enterprise storage for your most critical business applications.  Working together, Unisys platforms and EMC Enterprise Storage systems, solutions and services energize and activate each other's exceptional capabilities.

Additionally, EMC ControlCenter/Open Edition software provides enhanced GUI-based tools that simplify data management functions in the most challenging Unisys configurations.  This enables a seamless environment for Unisys end-users who want a singular architecture for centrally managed storage requirements across all Unisys platforms and other brands of installed systems.

EMC and Unisys are teamed to support CLARiiON/Centera storage solutions with installation and maintenance services under a global master services agreement serving 25 countries across the globe.

EMC's acquisition of Documentum in 2003 added another dimension to the Unisys EMC relationship.  Documentum provides enterprise content management solutions as part of EMC Corporation's information lifecycle management (ILM) strategy. With a single platform, Documentum enables people to collaboratively create, manage, deliver, and archive the content that drives business operations – from documents and discussions to e-mail, Web pages, records, and rich media.  Unisys provides complementary services and solutions thath cover every step in the process: requirements assessment, design, development, deployment, training, maintenance, and world-class support.
