Relationship with Unisys

Unisys and Data Connection have a strategic agreement that focuses on integrating Data Connection’s Messaging solution, including the message store, directory technologies MailNGen messaging application and a number of additional calling service applications with all of the server, storage, network connectivity components from third parties.  The resulting solution provides a fully integrated, carrier-class next generation messaging solution for service providers.

In addition, Data Connection acts as a reseller for the Unisys Notification solutions when integrated with the Data Connection Metaswitch solutions.

Solution

Data Connection’s standards-based messaging solution is ideal for voicemail, email or unified messaging deployments scaling from tens of thousands to millions of mailboxes.  It features a universal message store enabling carriers to store multimedia messages in a single mailbox, so that a subscriber can access all their different message types from a single account, using a variety of different devices: listen to emails over the phone, play voicemails over the web from any standard browser, forward faxes as email, and so on.  The solution uses proven, scalable messaging and open directory technology developed by Data Connection.  Additional subscriber services such as Autoattendent, Find Me/Follow me, and others are available as add-on capabilities.
