Relationship with Unisys

Unisys and AppTrigger have a WW Master Reseller agreement that focuses on integrating AppTrigger’s Ignite Application Session Controller (ASC) with the Unisys Messaging  and Subscriber Service Solutions.  The resulting solution provides fully integrated, carrier-class next generation network connectivity for service providers moving from legacy to next generation networks. Branded as the Unisys ASC, the partnership extends the Unisys messaging and commitment to innovation by providing customers with a cost-effective and future proof application connectivity solution.
 
Solution

AppTrigger’s Application Session Controller delivers the right combination of call/session control, signaling, switching and media capabilities supporting multiple applications for both new and legacy networks.  This core technology from AppTrigger powers the Unisys ASC, a highly scalable, carrier grade network element that enables IMS, VoIP, and legacy intelligent network (IN) applications to be resistant from the changes in converging networks. AppTrigger’s core technology within the Unisys ASC will enable Carriers to overcome application challenges by providing a next generation network layer with the following benefits:

• SIP Modernization: Upgrades SIP capabilities for existing Unisys Communication Media Module (CMM) customers, enabling greater scale and reliability while providing the foundation for next-generation network interfaces.
• New Applications and Mash-ups: The Unisys ASC supplies multi-network session control capabilities to help eliminate stove pipes and modular architecture, reducing OPEX and speeding time to market for new applications.
• Application Migration: Provides any-to-any application integration into the network, enabling full legacy-to-IMS and IMS-to-legacy application connectivity.
