Unisys Wins Global Outsourcing Contract from Ciba Specialty ChemicalsUnisys to support 12,000 Ciba employees worldwide through flexible global delivery model using onshore and offshore resources
BASEL, Switzerland, October 3, 2007 – Unisys Corporation (NYSE: UIS) today announced the signing of a five-year global IT outsourcing contract with Ciba Specialty Chemicals (SWX: CIBN). Ciba is a leading global provider of specialty chemicals that enhance the performance, protection, strength, color, and other aspects of its customers’ products.
Reinforcing Ciba’s global IT strategy, Unisys will provide a comprehensive range of IT services to 12,000 Ciba employees throughout Europe, the Americas and Asia. The services include end-user services, data center services and management of SAP solutions. The initial rollout across all locations is planned for completion in 2008.

Unisys will use its global sourcing capabilities for Ciba, combining local service delivery with delivery from Unisys services centers in Budapest, Hungary and Bangalore, India. Unisys will provide help desk services in nine languages: English, German, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Mandarin, Korean, and Japanese.
In Switzerland, Unisys will partner with Swisscom IT Services to provide Ciba with data center services and management of SAP solutions.
